According to a news report from the Voice of Nigeria, the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN), Kwara branch, has provided free malaria treatment to more than 200 vulnerable individuals in Bode-Saadu, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.

This medical outreach, organized by the ACPN, aligns with the 2024 World Malaria Day (WMD) theme: “Accelerating the Fight Against Malaria for a More Equitable World.”

The outreach included free treatment using the recommended Artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) drugs, deworming, and counseling.

The most vulnerable groups, including pregnant women, infants, and children under five years of age, have benefited from this initiative.
